Hulderskogan
Hulderskogen means the hulder's forest, the old Norwegian woodland where the trees have been watching longer than anyone can remember. This collection is drawn from Nordic folk tradition and Viking ancestry that runs through my own family line, back through Rollo, the first Duke of Normandy, and further into the dark than that. Deep forest greens. Warm stone and soft rust. Birds among the branches and light that has to work to reach the floor. Every design in the Hulderskogen collection is hand drawn, built from the patterns of people who spent long winters indoors and made beauty out of the things they had to look at every day. Grounded, warm and quietly alive. This is a forest as it feels to stand in, not just to look at.
